The Profitability Project

This downtown Salem office got a light but impactful refresh, creating a welcoming and professional space for clients and team members alike. As a rented space, the design focused on smart, stylish updates that brought warmth, clarity, and personality without major renovation. From thoughtful furnishings to subtle touches that reflect the firm’s approachable vibe, this refresh proves that even simple changes can make a big difference.

LOBBY -BEFORE

As the lobby and first impression of the office, this space sets the tone for a welcoming, professional, and approachable experience. Fresh paint, new flooring, and layered lighting sources add softness and depth, while brass wall sconces and accessories lend a subtle touch of sophistication. The earthy tones, inspired by the surrounding Willamette Valley, ground the space in a sense of place. Clean-lined, comfortable seating creates an inviting atmosphere, and a custom coffee bar - complete with a hidden mini fridge - blends seamlessly into the design. Personal touches, like books collected from the advisor’s travels, add story and soul to this curated and highly functional space.

LOBBY -AFTER

OFFICE - BEFORE

This inviting office was designed to reflect the client’s desire for a space that feels both professional and personal. She envisioned a warm, welcoming environment for her clients, while also celebrating her growing family. A thoughtfully curated gallery wall blends family photos, greenery, and meaningful decorative pieces-bringing heart and personality into the room. We reimagined the placement of the television, originally mounted low on an arm, and replaced it with a transitional-style media piece that seamlessly complements the gallery arrangement. Soft lighting, new flooring, updated upholstery, and a few well-placed art lights brought the finishing touches-creating a space that feels collected, calm, and comfortable for both work and meaningful connection.
